Another Year Older

When said I was exhausted from the trip to Florida, Tracy reminded me that the more exhausted I was from a trip was an indicator of how much fun I had.  It's true, it was a blast.  Paul and I are faced with the hard truth that we're just not as young as we used to be.

For my birthday, we went to dinner at La Jolla Groves (a reminder of our La Jolla honeymoon over 39 years ago).  When we came home, we got cozy in these pajamas that our son and his family gave us on the Florida trip.  (Since my husband and son are both named Paul [my decision 36+ years ago], it creates a challenge when referring to one of them in this blog.)

Paul liked his because they were comfortable without any frills.  Mine were comfortable too, but more than that, the print is Disney elegance.  Whenever I wear them, I'll think of the memorable week in Florida with our son's family.

Wearing our new pajamas, we decided to pose with some gifts we got from our kids across the country.
Truthfully, the exciting thing about this picture is that I finally learned how to operate the timer.  I set the camera, ran back to Paul, and tried to look composed.  Naturally, I didn't post the one where I fell over him on the way.
