Celebrating at Universal Studios

Wednesday found us back at a theme park.  This time it was Universal Studios.

Lily wanted to ensure she enjoyed the day and decided the best way to get around the park would be to share a stroller with Eva.  Her dad told her that a single stroller was $14 to rent, but a double would be $24.  She emphatically said she would pay the $10 difference.  A staff member said it would be no problem, brought out the double stroller and said, "That will be $14."  Congratulations, Lily!  Thanks to a compassionate staff member, you could save your money and energy for concessions and those riotous rides!

Nothing like starting the day on the Incredible Hulk.  It should be a red flag when you're buckled down securely enough to endure a tornado.  After the ride, we took Eva so Stacy could ride. Grandpa's expression says it all.
Stacy and Paul boarded together.
Now Stacy's expression says it all.
Lily and her grandpa entered the world of Harry Potter.
Lily didn't even hesitate to stand in line for 90 minutes to board Hogsmeade's most famous ride.
Of all the crummy luck!  Sweet, little Eva started to run a fever and asked her dad to take her back to the hotel.
We sat on the ground to be entertained by a frog choir.
The frogs croaked along accompanied by an amazing human choir.
Using Great Grandma's Christmas money to purchase this wizard's wand, Jack said his trip was complete.
Jurassic Park didn't make these kids even flinch.
A few hours after Paul and Eva headed out, we learned they were still in the park.  Eva had a rebound!  She had endured all the scary rides but felt much more comfortable in Seuss Landing.
The only thing better than Suess Landing was Suess Landing at Christmas time.
The picture of energy spent to the max.
