For Friday, the kids and parents elected to return to the Magic Kingdom. Paul and I chose the Epcot Center.
Here is a traditional Pere Noel (French Santa Clause).
This acrobat stacked chair upon chair. After every chair, I took another picture because I thought he was finished.
Finally! It made me too nervous to see him get down.
I love to listen to carols sung by those in period attire. These were among the best I had ever heard.
Best of all, they appeared to love performing!
These guys didn't have an ounce of fat on them. Surprisingly, they didn't jump to position, but slowly and steadily lifted and leaned. Incredible strength!
He dropped her a couple of times at the start, but she was graceful and unflappable.
At the end of a performance of Christmas carols and scripture narratives, we saw a fireworks show with a floating world globe. It was an experience that made you feel great about being a member of the human race.
Perfect way to end the day.
We nearly had to drag ourselves back to the hotel. We thought the days of relaxation in between would prevent exhaustion. It's hard to admit you're simply getting old.
