Paul's family left Virginia in search of a pesky elf who snatched their Christmas presents. The chase led them to Disney World in Orlando! The last clue given to the kids was that they could expect 2 visitors to join them on this escapade. Paul and I were especially thankful that they were excited to learn that we were the 2 visitors.
To start the first day of vacation, we unwrapped Disney T-shirts for all of us. A surprise to all of us was Jack's shirt matched his Grandpa's.
Paul's family took a minute to pose.
I'm not sure if Lily closed her eyes to shield them from the sun or because she was so excited. I found out the reason. This girl is the biggest 9-yr. old dare devil I've ever seen. The scarier, wilder, body rattling the ride, the better! Space Mountain took my breath away -- Lily's too. When it was over, she exhaled and said, "That was awesome!" She and I got soaked (not splashed) on Splash Mountain. Paul/Grandpa took us back to the hotel. Lily quickly changed and was ready to return. I went to bed.
Tuesday was supposed to be a day of relaxation. Jack has the idea.
Quickly, Jack and Lily went at each other with the help of their dad and grandpa.Lily's not going down easily.
Eva and Lily wanted to take a relaxing bubble bath. Clearly, Lily is still in fighting mode.
